We spent over $10,000 at Ace Kitchen Direct in Pompano Beach, FL. The delivered old, used cabinets that were warped, dented, different colors, splintered, cracked, chipped. We immediately returned them and disputed our credit card. We had a granite contract with them, also, and I had written them a deposit check for $2200.00. They cancelled our contract and refuse to give us back our money. They are the WORST company to deal with. Their cabinets are junk, their customer service is horrible and now they stole our money. Do not use Ace Kitchen Direct or cabinets or granite, you'll be disappointed and they will rip you off.

First and foremost, Ace Kitchen Direct's ultimate goal is always to satisfy the customer. Unfortunately, this customer never allowed us an opportunity to address and resolve their concerns. This customer placed a "Special Order" which they subsequently rejected and returned in breach of contract. They refused further communication with us and all efforts on our part to correct their issues. In addition to breaching their contract, this customer has attempted to disput the full amount of their special order purchase. 

 

This "Anonymous" report is based on a Special Order Contract. The contract clearly states: "no returns will be accepted for Special AKD Cabinet Orders." Because our goal is to satisfy our customers, the contract also states: "cabinets will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal and proper use for a period of one year from date of purchase. Any part which proves defective under normal use will be replaced by AKD." 

 

The day after this order was picked-up the customer called stating the cabinets were not up to his satisfaction. We suggested he come to our showroom so he could better explain his concerns and allow us to address those issues, which he refused to do. Instead he returned the entire order, a clear breach of contract. After the order was returned, the customer refused to communicate with our office, making it impossible to reach an amicable resolution. 

 

This customer had visited our showroom prior to placing their order and was familiar with our showroom quality standard (which is well within the industry standard). The majority of the cabinets in this order met our showroom quality standard and our intent was to quickly correct all issues that were outside the standard. Because our many attempts at communication and resolution went unanswered and because of the customer's breach of contract and the fact he disputed the full amount, we found no alternative than to cancel the granite contract. 

 

Ace Kitchen Direct takes pride in satisfying our customers and because of that the majority of our business is generated by referrals. Issues like the ones stated by this customer are extremely rare and that is why we continue growing and generating more referral business. The testimonial board located in our showroom is a small sample of our thousands of satisfied customers.

I think Ace Kitchen Direct is a great company. They did my kitchen top in the summer. The work was superb!
